Eligibility Criteria
The FIA has specified detailed requirements for each post. Candidates must meet these standards by the closing date of 4th May 2026.
1. Educational Qualifications
- Assistant & Sub-Inspector: Requires a 2nd Class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized university.
- Stenotypist & Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Intermediate qualification required. Stenotypists must have a shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Constable: Matriculation from a recognized board. LDC candidates need a typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
- Staff Car Driver: Primary pass with a valid motor car license and knowledge of traffic rules.
2. Physical Requirements
Candidates for Sub-Inspector, ASI, and Constable positions must meet the following:
- Height (Men): 5 ft. & 6 inches.
- Height (Women): 5 ft. & 4 inches.
- Chest (Men only): 33 x 34½ inches.
- Endurance Test: Candidates must complete a 1-mile (1.6 km) run in 7 minutes (male) or 10 minutes (female).
